What makes a great review

We love hearing what you think! The best reviews share honest thoughts about the story, the illustrations, or how a child responded to the book. Whether it's a sentence or a paragraph, your feedback helps other readers decide which books to explore.

Keep it about the book

Our books are sold through third-party shops such as Etsy and Amazon, so we're unable to publish comments about delivery, packaging, or order issues here. If you have a question about an order, please contact the shop you purchased from directly.

No personal details

To keep everyone safe - especially as this is a children's author website - please don't include contact details in your review such as email addresses, phone numbers, or home addresses. Your display name and review text will be shown publicly on the site.

You must be 13 or over

Under UK data protection rules, you need to be at least 13 years old to submit a review. If a younger reader wants to share their thoughts, a parent or guardian is welcome to submit a review on their behalf.

How we moderate reviews

All reviews are checked before they appear on the site. We reserve the right to not publish any review, and to:

  • Edit reviews for spelling, grammar, or clarity
  • Remove published reviews at any time

What we won't publish

Reviews that include any of the following will not be published:

  • Contact details (email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses)
  • Comments about delivery, packaging, or orders
  • Offensive or inappropriate language
  • Spam or promotional content
  • Submissions from anyone under 13 without parental consent

By submitting a review

When you submit a review, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood these guidelines
  • You are happy for your review and display name to appear publicly on this website
  • You are at least 13 years old, or a parent/guardian is submitting on your behalf
